Driving Home

I drove past your parent’s home

I drove past our apartment too

I drove past the home we owned

Yet I am driving all alone

From house to house

And Home to home

I’m dying to find you there

Erase this nightmare

It’s why I keep driving home.

You’ll be there just like my dream.

Erase this ache I feel in my bones.

Tell me it’s just a long drive home.
