The next evening, C8 meets with Pris at the Night Rider. The club is packed with people, the music is loud, and the air is thick with the scent of smoke and alcohol. At the Afterlife every mercenary worth a damn is here, and you need to be able to hold your own. A mixture of loud music and alcohol means anything can happen in an instant.

C8 spots Pris at a table in the corner, waving her over. It’s secluded so whatever business they discuss will be safe, she scans for any other netrunners trying to tap in before speaking.
